Friday 26th/Saturday 27th/Sunday 28th February – Random Photography

Yes, yes I know
My everyday-plan is not working out so well.. 2 days behind isn’t that bad. And, I posted multiple pictures in my previous posts so that gives me a bit of an excuse. Besides, it’s not like I’M GETTING ANY COMMENTS HERE so why should I bother? Puh.. Anyway, here are 3 random pictures…

Starting with this lovely cute tomato. This is an oldie! From way back when my desk-lamp combined with a piece of printer paper glued to my wall was the closest thing possible to a studio. Good times, I never got bored!

The second one was one I made on saturday. We have a new little birdie called Notts! I quickly made picture of him for this blog. I promise I’m going to take this more seriously.. Soon..

This last one is one I made for an assignment called Luxury. But I grew sick of it really fast, and am thinking of something else to do instead. I’d love to hear some people’s opinions about it…

Thursday 25th of February – Heavy Rain Playstation Commercial Photography

Hi again!
I took pictures today! Yes! I went to Brussels today to be the intern/assistant/whatever for some work experience. I got up at 5. Yes, 5. That’s early. It’s only 11 am and I already “worked” longer than I slept this night. This was an advertisement thing for Playstation who recently brought out a new game called ‘Heavy Rain’ (That should explain a lot) (the game looks awesome, so if you have a Playstation.. Invite me so I can play it.) I took some shots of other people working (that’s the best kind of work!) The photographer I went with today is Jurgen Doom – to find his website/blog and see some of his work avert your eyes slightly to the right. despite the rain (if it wasn’t the real one it was the rainmachine.. Ha, a rainmachine in Belgium… The irony) I still had a lot of fun and learned stuff as well.. And since we’re February it was kinda cold as well. But hey, if I can get up at 5 I can do anything!

We’re going out today this afternoon as well, so maybe 2 posts today. I’m such a hard worker.

Wednesday 24th of February

Hi again!
Yay for me keeping this up! (I know it’s only day 2 – shush). I have made a picture today! It’s not special, it’s not great.. But I’m going to show it anyway, otherwise this thing fails at day 2 and that would be really.. REALLY sad. OK here it is!:

As you can see, still messing around with colours. It’s this colour-led thingy I got from my better half. The lights are originally blue but I decided to put this yellowish-pinkish-purpelish colour in it. It makes it pretty ^^
For those interested: Canon EOS 5D (That seriously needs a clean, anyone know a good place? Say, near Ghent or something? – I’m too big of a wuss and too clumsy to do it myself…) and a Canon EF 100 mm 2.8..

Yep, that was it. I’ll be back!!… Tomorrow.

Tuesday 23rd of February

Okay!

Post deux. Now it’ll be a picture I made today. That’s actually the whole point of this blog. I know I won’t take pictures everyday (this blog is supposed to motivate me to do so, but I know I won’t). This one was a quickie for my brother. He’s entered this contest and needed a picture to put on his profile. It was a quickie because it was poooouuuuuuurrrrrrring rain, and even tough I would love to have one, I don’t have a waterproof camera.
This is the picture, it’s not a photographic artwork, I know, but it got the job done!

Thank you.

The Beginning…

Hi, hello, bonjour.

This is my new blog! Yay! I’m not sure why I’m making this but I felt like it and there’s nothing stopping me so here it is! I’m not quite the witty talker so if you’re here for long intresting and funny stories you’d better go somewhere else I’m afraid. I’m not expecting a huge amount of friend, followers, readers, or whatever they’re called, I’m doing this for me. This blog will be a photo-blog and I’m going to try and upload a picture (or several pictures, depends) everyday, for a year. This is/was a popular thing on Flickr and now I’m doing it myself! Yay again! And again, I’m not sure why. I just turned 21 and I’m in my last year of photography, and I’m hoping this will motivate me to do photography everyday, try new things, experiment, and so on. And if everything goes well maybe I can even get some comments of people, telling me it’s very nice, it’s very crap or it’s inbetween those two. Hopefully I can look back in one year and see what I’ve accomplished. Or yeah, I don’t know… We’ll see how this goes.. Thanks for taking a look anyway!

These pictures are for the 19th of Feb (my birthday), the 20, 21st and 22nd. This is because I wanted to start on my birthday, but I was away and had no access to the internet.

Pictureset 1 (19feb) and 2 (20feb):
The last weekend of January, just 2 weeks before my Erasmus-project in Nottingham came to an end I went to Schotland. Edinburgh to be precise. I took pictures in the train from and to Edinburgh and in the City itself ofcourse. Most of them are experimental colour-wise.
